1. The Client shall provide Jumppoint with the full and correct address of a pick-up point (Client’s warehouse) and ensure that by the date agreed with Jumppoint the items will be ready for transportation (properly packed, delivered to the pick-up point agreed with Jumppoint).
2. The Client shall provide all information related to the recipients of parcels, including full and correct address and any other information that is necessary for the Services provision.
3. The Client shall provide accurate weight and information of parcels. Jumppoint will review the dimensional weight upon picking up the parcels. If it is found that the dimensions and weight do not match the declared values, Jumppoint reserves the right to update the information in the system and charge additional fees without prior notice. The final decision regarding any discrepancies lies with Jumppoint.
4. The shipping items shall be prepared and packed by the Client safely and carefully. The Client is fully and solely responsible for the safe and accurate packaging of the items and for the provision of Jumppoint with all necessary information, including:
• the nature of the items
• any specific conditions required for the transportation of the items
• any losses and damages that might be suffered by Jumppoint and/or its partners and subcontractors involved in transportation
5. The Client shall print a shipping label provided by Jumppoint or its designated partner and properly affix it to the items to be shipped. If no shipping label is attached to the item, the item will not be accepted for shipment.
6. If the packaging is damaged during the delivery process, resulting in damage to or loss of the goods, the maximum compensation amount for the parcels is 2 times of shipping fee or declared value (Max HK$200), whichever is lower. Additionally, the shipper is also responsible for ensuring appropriate and secure packaging of the goods.
7. All claims must be submitted to Jumppoint within two(2) months from the date Jumppoint accepted the parcel for shipment, failing which Jumppoint shall have no liability whatsoever.
8. Jumppoint will make reasonable efforts to deliver the shipment in accordance with its normal delivery standards, but these standards are not binding and do not constitute part of the contract between Jumppoint and the shipper. Jumppoint shall not be liable for any loss or liability incurred by the shipper due to reasons beyond its control, including force majeure events.
9. Jumppoint does not provide pick-up services in the following areas in Hong Kong:
i. Outlying Islands (excluding Tung Chung)
ii. Lantau Island, Ma Wan, Kwun Yam Shan Village
iii. Any restricted areas or areas where trucks are prohibited
iv. Logistics warehouses, transit warehouses, warehouses requiring queuing for pick-up or delivery, and warehouses requiring gate fees or registration fees.
10. Jumppoint shall not be responsible to provide any proof of delivery or related services.
11. Chargeable weight is gross weight or volumetric weight, whichever higher. Final billing will be calculated based on chargeable weight measured by Jumppoint.
12. For designated industrial and commercial areas, to-door pickup is available for a minimum of 1 shipment. However, for to-door pickup outside of designated commercial areas, a minimum of 6 shipments is required for doorstep pickup.
13. The Client shall ensure that the shipped items comply with all applicable laws and regulations of places of shipment, transition, and destination. The Client shall strictly abide by the customs regulations, and ensure that all parcels are packed and labeled in a manner adequate to withstand the risk of performance of the logistics service having regard to their nature and in accordance with Jumppoint's requirements.
14. The following items cannot be shipped by Jumppoint in any case:- Drugs, and items related to drug use.
• Dangerous chemicals.
• Items from/to/mentioning sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Crimea Region), entities, and individuals.
• Items that the content, external form, transportation or storage of which violates a statutory prohibition or a prohibition by a public authority, in particular - but without limitation - regulations regarding export import or customs law of the countries of origin, destination or transit, or goods for which special equipment (e. g. for temperature-controlled goods), safety precautions or authorizations are required.
• Items that the content of which violates intellectual property rights, including forged, counterfeit, or unlicensed copies of items (brand and trademark piracy).
• Items containing live animals or human remains.
• Weapons, especially firearms, or parts thereof, limitation weapons or ammunition.
• Items that contain obscene or pornographic items.
15. The Client shall indemnify and hold Jumppoint and its directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against all and any liabilities, losses and damages arising out of Shipper’s failure to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of places of shipment, transition, and destination.
16. To verify the presence of dutiable goods, dangerous or prohibited goods or to confirm the nature or value of declared goods, Jumppoint and other service providers involved by Jumppoint shall have the right to open the Items. The Client shall hold Jumppoint and its subcontractors harmless against any claims against Jumppoint or its subcontractors and shall compensate any reasonable and documented loss or damages Jumppoint or its subcontractors may incur as the result of exercising this right of inspection.
17. During the hoisting of typhoon signals, red or black rainstorm warnings, or when Jumppoint determines that it is unsafe to carry out deliveries due to inclement weather conditions, or due to traffic accidents and road blockages, the delivery service may be delayed or rescheduled for the safety of our personnel.
18. Cutoff time for scheduling a to-door pickup:
• Pickup date (T0): Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays
• If you place an order before 6:00 PM on the day prior to the pickup date (T-1), the system will automatically schedule the pickup for the following day (T0) for collection.
19. Maximum weight and dimension limitation for the parcels are according to quotation.
20. In no circumstances shall Jumppoint be liable for any indirect, incidental, or corresponding damages or consequential and economic losses (including but not limited to loss of profits, market losses, losses caused by delays, etc.).
